This is the same instrument as the model PAB-103, with the same accuracy specifications and certifications provided, but mounted in a shock resistant travel case made of beech hardwood.
It can be read in the vertical or horizontal position. Ideal for field work at sea, on land, or underground. The adjustment screw can be reached from a special port on the bottom of the box with out removing the instrument from the case. A popular traveling standard used for setting ship's barometers. A certificate of accuracy (view sample) is provided with each instrument. Each has a unique serial number on a metal plate on the top of the instrument. Download color brochure.

Choices include: housing style (approx. dimensions 11.5" x 6" x 7.5"), movement finishes, with or without extra dampening for use at sea, quartz clock or wind-up timers, and pressure range (depending on elevation of use). All devices have a certified accuracy of better than ± 0.7 mb over the full working range.
