Vaisala Digital Barometer PTB330-A is a new generation barometer, designed for a wide range of high-end atmospheric pressure measurements. Please contact Starpath for supply power, output, and mounting options. The pressure measurement of the PTB330 is based on the Vaisala in-house, silicon capacitive, absolute pressure BAROCAP® Sensor. It provides high measurement accuracy and excellent long-term stability. It is used by the FAA and NWS inspectors for calibrating weather stations nationwide. Guaranteed high accuracy All the PTB330 barometers come with a NIST traceable, factory calibration certificate. Optional supply sources. The stock unit listed above provides two internal connectors for your own source of DC voltage of 10 to 35V. It is as easy operation to open the cover and apply your source of 12v to the pins provided, explained in detail in the manual. Vaisala offers several options for powering the unit if you do not wish to use your own power source. (1) An internal power supply with an external cord to plug in to 120 to 240v AC(adapters for various plugs included). Using this option you receive a unit with the power supply already installed and an AC cord hardwired into the case. This option is $210. Buy Now. (2) Barrel type 12v AC adapter shown below. This is Part No. 222340. The cost is $195. This option includes the AC adapter to plug into an outlet, but it does not include a battery pack. The latter are available from several sources for about 50 hours operation that will match this barrel plug for about $150 for battery pack and charger. Contact us about availability. Optional RS332 digital out put connections Digital output is available on all models at no extra charge, but access to this data must be wired by the user, which is not difficult. This data can then be read without custom software using some equivalent to the Windows Hyperterminal program, after which it could be displayed and plotted with a spread sheet program.
