Notes on the NavPak program by Thomas Metcalf

This program includes a versatile option called "Data Editor" which lets users review the input from any sight or set of sights and from the editor page change, delete or add sight data.

Dr. Metcalf has provided supplements (NAV48 TRICKS AND SHORTCUTS) to this program which users can download here. We provide this as a service to mariners using the HP computers but we are not ourselves familiar with the details of this calculator or its navigation functions. The Contents of the supplement are:

1.  Saving Positions
2.  Using the CST Custom Menu
3.  Artificial Horizons
4.  Course-Vector Solutions
5.  Using a Larger PICT
