In the coastal nav course and in the celestial nav course we have an article on nav stations with various favorable features. This was written several years ago, and today we just found the grahics for it that was never produced by the publishers of the original article.

Please refer to section 12.5 of the Coastal Nav Course or section 11.8 of the Celestial Nav course for the details.

In this sketch:
(A) is a splash screen
(B) is pencil, flashlight, and divider holder
(C) parallel plotter and parallel rulers holder
(D) bungy to hold desk lid down
(E) foot rest to brace knees under the table
(F) Curved seat for navigator

The virtues of these additions are discussed in the articles.
