If you buy the StarPilot software alone and wish to install it into your own TI calculator you need the software and cables for this process. The same would be needed if you wish to update to the latest version. There is no charge for updates, when available. Just download and install.

The linking process involves using all TI products and your computer, which is not related to the StarPilot product. Consequently Starpath does not provide direct tech support on that step of the process. You can get assistance with that by calling TI directly at

1-800-TI-CARES.

Once you have the TI calculator connnected to the PC and have the program installed, then we are standing by to help in any way if there should be any other questions about the registration process.

There are full instructions for the linking process in the StarPilot manuals, which can be downloaded from our downloads section. Usually that is enough guidance to get the program installed. If not, please call TI.

We encourage those who wish to purchase the program this way to download it and get it installed before making the actual purchase. Then you will have your starpilot code already and can complete the registration online as soon as you purchase the serial number from us.

We sell the TI cable for linking the PC to the TI as a convenience to our customers as needed, but if you have any large office supply store nearby you may be able to find a better price. Our price is $24.95, but we have seen these as low as $19.95 at these warehouse outlets. Also the new TI-Titanium comes with a cable of its own, so the separate cable purchase is only needed for the traditional TI-89.
