To do trig you can use the native TI functions, but these are very small output in the bottom line. It is easier with the custom math function built into starpilot.

For example, from the starpilot screen, press F5 F5 then use orange 2nd to get sin( type in 45 then close ) and enter. If there is a fractional answer it will give that, ie in this case root2/2 so just then x 1. to get the decimal. Whenever you get a fraction do times 1. or in this case instead of 45, start out with sin (45.0)
