We have implemented a function that lets you print degree signs (°) or other special characters from any keyboard in any of your messages, new topics or replys.

Use the Ctrl key plus a number to get them as follows:


° = Ctrl+1 a degree sign
± = Ctrl+2 for errors or uncertainties
— = Ctrl+3 a big dash for text or layout
• = Ctrl+4 a bullet for layout or lists



note this does not work on google chrome, but the standard keyboard controls do on chrome, which are

° = alt+0176 mac = option + 0
± = alt+0177 mac = shift option + -
— = alt+0151 mac = option + -
• = alt+0149
