When you submit a quiz to be graded it is usually done and returned within 24 hr, and we try to promise that it will always be within 2 buisness days. Generally, though we do these right away. Several instructors are watching the courses and they get email announcements when a quiz has been submitted.
However, we have found that participants sometimes do not get these return mails. This is usually the result of a spam filter at the user end that has captured the mail.

If you have submitted a quiz and do not have an answer within 2 days, then please log in and check your online record of quiz scores from the Options page. There you will see two options at the top. Display Quiz Scores and Display Quiz Solutions.
If you have submitted it and we received it you will have your quiz listed in the Display Quiz Scores, but the score will be blank.
When you then Display Quiz Solutions, you will see the solutions available if we have in fact graded it and sent the score back to you. If the quiz is not listed in this list, then it means the quiz has not been graded.
So if you can see the solutions but have not got the email, then the email is most likely stuck at your end. The same code that posts the solutions also sends you the email of the results.
Needless to say, you can still email us and we will send it again if it has been lost.
