Inland and Coastal Navigation Course Materials Install Notes

These course materials require the free Elibra Reader, which can be downloaded and installed from this same page. It is best to install the reader first, then come back to download and install the cel nav materials. The reader installation takes just seconds. It is important to read the elibra reader install notes because this new reader can affect several software products that you may have. When ready, Install Elibra Reader.

Once you have installed the new elibra reader, please return to download and install the coastal nav materials. These materials also use the free Adobe Reader, which you can get at www.adobe.com if needed.

With the materials installed, you are ready to start the course. Detailed instructions on how to proceed are installed with the materials and accessible through the course index icon on your desktop or from your Start/All Programs menu.

The course insructions explain that we also use the Memory-Map Navigator echart program and GPS simulator. We include a copy on the CD for the course, but you can download and install the latest version directly from Memory-Map. Once that program is installed, it must be activated with Memory-Map as explained in the course instructions mentioned above.
