Some Starpath products require registration. Here is why and how it works.

To protect your investment and to facilitate economical and convenient worldwide access, and to provide very convenient free updates via the Internet to new releases, some Starpath software products are designed to work on your computer(s) alone. During the installation or when you run the program for the first time, the program will generate a CODE unique to your computer that is needed to complete the registration, explained below. When you register the product, use that CODE and your serial number to generate the KEY that will unlock the software in your computer. You can register online immediately upon installation (a direct link is provided in the CODE window) or you can register by e-mail, telephone, or fax to Starpath. If you do not have the KEY at the time of installation, just close the CODE window, register to obtain the KEY, then run the program again to see the CODE window where you input your KEY. We hope users will understand that this extra step in the registration allows us to continue to provide high-quality training materials at the most economical prices and to make these products available to mariners worldwide. ** WHAT YOU NEED TO REGISTER ** (1) Product Name: i.e. "Radar Trainer 3" (2) Serial Number: Located on the CD sleeve, or obtained directly after purchase for electronic downloads. (3) CODE: This appears automatically either during installation or when first running the product. (4) E-MAIL: To register online or by e-mail, you will need a valid e-mail address. ** WHERE TO REGISTER ** (1) The easiest and fastest way to register is via the internet online at www.starpath.com. There is a direct link to the registration site on the CODE window that will work if you are online at the time. At that site, just fill in the form and the KEY will be e-mailed back to you immediately. Internet address: www.starpath.com/register.htm. (2) By fax or e-mail, please use the regcard.txt file on the CD or available here to fill in the form and then email or fax the data to us. For e-mail the form can be attached or included in the body of the text, the latter would be the best option for HF-email services. For these options, be sure to state how you wish to have the KEY sent back to you.
