Hello,
In looking at the answer to Exercise 7.4, I was struck that the scale of the UPS had been increased by a factor of 2. My own plot was still good with the standard scale, but as far as I know there's not an explanation for when this technique should be used. When should we change the UPS scale like this? And are there are other scale changes that should be considered under other circumstances?
