I've re-worked #7 and still don't see my error.

I get an answer of Lat = 27 40.3`, but the book says it should be 40.0`

I get a Z distance( Line 2-2) of 47-30.3..is that where the problem lies?
Thanks,
Norm

Please disregard the original post/query. My problem was that I used the wrong col in the Altitude Correction Table. (I used OCT-MAR, rather than APR-SEPT, as I should have) Let that be a lesson to me. I now have to redo *all* the problems to be sure I've learned from my mistakes.

Thanks,
Norm

We had already posted a note on your last one.

Not sure if that helped or you found it on your own.

In any event, that is the value of the course--to find such errors now rather than later when you are underway!
