Where do I find in the course materials or CD the current value for todays equation of time?

The Equation of Time is not listed as such in the almanac, but it is the difference between 1200 and the time of the sun's meridian passage, which is listed on each daily page.

See Figure 3-1 on page 3-4, which shows essentially the EqT plotted out for each day of the year. Just subtract 1200 from the times on the left.

These values are very similar from year to year, especially on every 4th year.

If you have the CD version of the course, then you have the Starpath Perpetual Almanac, as that comes with the electronic version of the course. With that just set the date and then push the sun button to learn all about the sun for that day, including the equation of time.
