Hi,
I completed the questions at the end of chapter 5 and seem to have some answers that are somewhat different from the answers in the back of the book. I am having some issues interpreting the conversion of East Longitudes in figuring GHA/LHA, but it would seem that I am getting the correct result. My problem seems to be in figuring “a”, I have rerun the problems several times and cannot seem get the math right. I would appreciate it if someone could look at my answers below and give me some insight as to what I am doing wrong.

This post has been here sometime and i see that our orignal reply is not here any longer, and i do not know the history of why that might be.
But to track down the issues...
Please post all the individual steps for just one or two of them and we can find the problem. No 1 is correct.
Did you get the answers right to problem set 3.4? if so, Ho will be the same in each one.
