In the light list 16270 it list the obscured area from 050 --- 146. I get a reading of: 326 --- 230. I finally figured it out by using the reciprocal, but that would be valid only from Trial Is.

The bearings listed in the light list are correct, which can be read from the chart—they are the faint black dashed lines, not the bold purple lines which coincidently mark the shipping lanes in the vicinity.
For blind sector bearing limits, the direction is always true as viewed from seaward as is explained in the course materials and in the glossary. Sometimes it is helpful to look at the light to help discern which of the two sectors specified by any two bearings is being referred to.... in this case is it 050 to 146 or 146 to 050, etc.
These are bearing line limits, which are in a sense universally valid.
Can you be more precise with your concern in the last sentence of your statement?
