I have just started the Home study course and have worked through the first section of problems. On many problems after checking and rechecking my measurements I have comeup with slightly different answers. for example 1-11B 2.2nm vs 2.25, 1-15A Long 123, 27.6' vs. 27.7', 1-13 9.1nm vs 9nm and so forth. Are these considered errors on my part. How is testing done-Starpath and us sailing? I have approached this course as if I were on the water with only my plotting tools, charts and reference materials. Am I making a mistake or are my answers "correct"?

Welcome aboard. Your answers are likely plenty close enough -- generally the answer to how accurate must the answer be depends on the cirucmstances. We have an article on this in the tech support section http://www.starpath.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=52;t=000015
and there are other discussion topics on this as well in this location...

Do a search (small link under New Topic at the top right of this page) on the word "accuracy" to find some related discussion. If there are any snags on that process, pls post a note here and we will get the actual links for you.
