On July 14 the morning ebb at Admiralty Inlet is at 0947 corrected for New Dugenness (+ :16) 10:03.
Ebb current = 4.0 corrected for New Duggenness 4 X .5 = 2 KTS. Why is the answer 1.65 KTS?

Since you are registered in the online course, and this is a question about a problem in that course, i will move this question and the answer to the Student discussion forum.

When signed up for the course, that is a better forum to use as it is watched by more instructors and those not in the course who have access to this Public Discussion group do not know what the problem is so it does not help them.
