I assume you refer to this pdf in our resources:

it is a way to add compass rose to a section of a chart that you use a lot that happens to not have one where you want it.
check with an office supply store (ie Office Max, Staples) and find clear labels on letter size paper. then just use those labels as paper in your printer. then you can cut them out and paste where needed.
or, print on to over head transparency sheets cut out and tape into place with clear tape.
The alternative is to use true bearings for your chart work, and then a roller plotter or similar device can be used for course lines without any compass rose.

also just noticed that you need to get this pdf into your computer, so do not try to print from the browser, but right click and save the file then open it in Adobe Reader and print from there. The latter is a free program which is valuable to have. gust google Get Adobe Reader to find it.
