If one of our PC programs is not getting registered properly because a protection program might be blocking any writing in the Registry, then you can try installing the elibra book or other software product in Windows Safe Mode.

How to get into Safe Mode

1) With the computer running, hold down the shift key and press Restart

2) When a Choose Option window shows up, choose Troubleshoot

3) Choose Advanced Options

8) Choose Start-up Settings

9) Press Restart button (Note this will not show up on external monitor. Need to use base machine)

10) Press #4 key (Safe Mode)

11) Enter user name and password if asked for

12) You should then see "Safe Mode" in each corner of the screen, and you are ready to install the program or register the software once again.

13) When done, you get out of Safe Mode by just doing a normal restart.
