If after some key sequence or some computation seems to be taking too long, and you stop it, and then cannot find the StarPilot, here is the sequence.
First with the Titanium model, be sure you get to the home screen—this is different from the App Desktop with icons. From the app desktop you can scroll down to find the Home icon, click it to get to home screen. (Alternatively, with the Titanium model you are best to turn off the App Desktop completely... see below.)
then from the home screen
[2nd] [quit/ESC] [yellow-green diamond]
will bring it back.
That is, from home screen, 4 key strokes: [2nd] [quit] [green diamond] .
If that does not work then you should reload it from ROM to RAM. for this you will need the KEY given at registration or taped onto the inside of the cover.
1) go to home screen
2) [2nd] [Var-link]
3) scroll down to highlight spsetup then [enter]
4) then see spsetup( on the bottom line, then complete the ( ) with [ ) ] then press [enter]
5) this will either take you back to the starpilot index menu and you are done, or it will ask for ...more so press [enter] them may need to add your KEY again to open it.
if that does not do it for you then some how the ROM has been manually changed from the program mode, and you will have to reload the program into ROM.
there are a series of instructions for doing that on this forum... titled "installing starpilot."
To turn off app desktop: Mode, F3, arrow down to App Desktop, right arrow to Off, Enter, Enter.
