The Classroom is the headquarters for several aspects of the Starpath Online Resources. Besides being used to present the Online Courses in various subjects, it also houses the main index to General Discussion Groups in various topics, which are open to all WebCard holders. You will also find in the Classroom the Tech Support forums for various Starpath products.
In other words, the "Classroom" is the software environment (often called electronic bulletin board) where we present all of the forums we have available. A forum is just a list of messages (called topics) that can be read and, in some cases, responded to. In the Online Courses section, class assignments are posted by the instructor in the Instructor's Lockers (the name of a particular forum) and students post questions and answers in the Student's Locker, another forum. And so forth. The main index to all forum categories is called the "Commons." You can return directly to the Commons from any place in the Classroom.
Note that although several of our forums are open to the public for reading — anyone logged into the Starpath web site can see them — only WebCard holders have the right to post questions and answers in any forum.
There are also several forums that are not visible to the public. You must be logged in with your WebCard to see these. In each of the Online Courses, you must be both logged in with your WebCard and also be enrolled in the course to see or take part in those forums. Without course enrollment you can still post questions, but these must be in the General Discussion forums.

There is a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) about the Classroom operations itself; it is accessible from any page in the Classroom. You can also search any or all of the forums for specific topics. If you have a question about a specific topic, the first step is to use the search engine (small link in the top right of most pages) and look for keywords in your topic.
