We have recently had a unique opportunity to learn a lot about the Gulf Stream, especially in the difficult waters north of Cape Hatteras out to about 45° W or so, where it then grudgingly blends into the North Atlantic Current.

We have added a new lecture on this process and the various resources required in our Online course in marine weather.
