If you get the message "Installation aborted because an invalid serial number or key was entered" and then it quits... after not even having asked for a s/n or key,
The solution is: Right click the setup file and choose Properties. Then under Compatibility, choose XP service pack 3, then it should work.
This must be a result of a Win 10 update. It is not common but we have seen it more often in recent times.
