On the sides of the unit there are an on-off switch and several connectors.

We recommend that none of these be used and that this be considered simply a battery operated device with no input or output connections on this model.

If you turn the device off with the on-off switch it will totally erase all the data and your set up information. It will then need to be set up again, starting with the language choice.

You will also find external power connectors for a 12v AC adaptor and for 12v or 24v DC external power. These are planned features, not available on this model.

There is also on one side a connector for an external sensor, not available on this model, and there is a mini USB connector that is also not used in this model.

These are all planned extensions to this model which may become available in the future. The external power sources will then be needed when these new optional features become available.

This unit, as is in this model, already has far more features and functions than any other electronic barometer, and these new planned optional features will only add to its value.
