Choosing a Forum
If you are signed up for an online course and you are asking a question about that subject matter, then please use the Student Forum for that course. That way only your instructors see the question and they can help most quickly.
If you are in one course but want to ask a question about another topic (ie you are taking weather course and want to ask about cel nav) or you are not signed up for any course, then post your question in the Public discussion group that covers your question matter.
Choosing a subject title
Each posted question has a title to help readers decide if they want to read it. With that in mind, you see that a good short description of your question can be very helpful. If it is a textbook or practice quiz question, you can list the question number in the title, which might be enough. Or any few keywords that helps readers know what you are asking about.
Simple titles like "i need help" or "question on lesson 2" etc are not as useful. Skimming the list of topics will show samples that have been used.
