I'm placing this posting on the Discussion Board for anyone who might know of someone who's looking for extra Cel Nav capable crew in this June's races to Bermuda (Either Marion - Bermuda, or Hampton - Bermuda).
I'm currently taking the Home Study course, and plan to take the Starpath certification by April. Am really interested in putting this new skill set to use!
I've got 2,000+ NM offshore experience (both racing & delivery experience) and am eager to continue building my offshore time. Does anyone know of someone who might be interested in a Starpath Cel Nav grad / offshore experienced crew?
Thanks, Chris K.

Good luck Chris. I might add that these days the role of racing navigator reduces a lot to weather tactics which is what we cover in some depth in the Weather Trainer program and the online weather course....
Also the Bermuda races have a lot to do with Gulf Stream and we have learned A LOT about the Gulf Stream this summer when working with the now world's record holding trans-atlantic rowing team from NY to UK... and that information and the techniques we developed will be presented in the on line weather course as needed.
But we are pleased to see the races that do give credit to those who can do cel nav well.
Also a potential skipper may already have a navigator but just needs some good crew, in which case you could fit that bill and then offer the cel nav contribution as a bonus.
