What is the margin of error on the universal plotting sheets. When I do fixes using this sheet, my latitudes are always within the range but the longitudes are off by as much as 8*

You have "8*" does that mean 8' or 8° or 0.8' etc

Remember you can use our special symbols options ctrl+1 = degree sign. the minutes is just an apostrophe.

Also some Universal plotting sheets are actually off by a few tenths on the scales, so to do the best plotting, it is best to expand the scales from 60' to 30' or 15' or even 6'.
