Author Topic: Vernier Scale use? KenO posted June 04, 2007 02:43 PM                   Found an old Davis plastic sextent in the back of a cabinet on Allymar. Can't figure out how to read the vernier sliding scale. There is a section in Chapter 2 of the course book on how to do this. For more practice see problems 25 to 30 from these exercises from our online course. They are specifically for the davis vernier: More practice with sextant reading.
