Topic: H.O. 249 Errors?

There's been an active discussion on the SSCA discussion board on errors discovered in both the online and printed versions of H.O. 249. I haven't progressed enough in my Celestial Nav course to fully understand these and their ramifications (thus won't try and explain them), but I'd appreciate some clarification and what one can do until the tables are corrected. We have notes on this elsewhere in the discussion group. I do not think there are any errors that affect the examples we use in the course. some of these are rather deep, in that they occur in cases that are unlikely to arise in practice.... but we will check this and get back.
