How is the boat time kept by using watch time + 7 for the entire voyage when the vessel transits 3 time zones?

The time on board is not changed from the time zone for the departure for a few reasons: 1- it keeps the daily routine for the crew consistent throughout the voyage, 2- it keeps the zone description the same for the Sight Reductions again throughout the voyage (this eliminates confusion), 3- the time is changed to the zone description at the destination.

Note that we are going from 125 W to 150 W, which is 25º, or two time zones. The time difference is 3h from west coast to Hawaii, because they do not use DST.
