On page 47, Figure 4.4-1, the example appears to be a copy of the worksheet on page 68. The “d. corr.” on page 47 in box 5 is “-13’ ” resulting in “a” being “6.0 T” in box 6. The “d. corr.” on page 68 is “-12.7’ “ resulting in “a” being “5.7 T” in box 6. Is .7 of a mile significant? Thanks.

It appears that the -13 on page 47 is a typo and should be -12.7.
That is being corrected at the office.
I believe that the intent of the Figure 4.4-1 on page 47 was to show the location on the worksheet of the data needed to create a plotted line of position and not so much the underlying calculations.
Sorry about the confusion.
