Hello all,
I am trying to get the charts I will need for the Atlantic crossing from France to St Thomas. Since Captain’s on 15th has closed I don’t know of anywhere nearby to have charts printed so I am trying to order them online. I have found the site https://www.nauticalchartsonline.com/cart/items and have found that with 5 Imray charts at scale 440,000 and 2 NGA charts at scale 5,281,950 I should be able to make the crossing. My main question is will this scale for the two Atlantic charts be too large to accurately plot my position? Please let me know if you see any other problems with the charts I chose. Thank you!

Please tell us the departure point and arrival point and when you will be leaving.
Do you have a computer on board and have you used OpenCPN?
Will you have a satphone or iridium go?

I plan to leave the south coast of France in mid October, sail to the canaries, and then sail to St Thomas once we have a good weather window. We will have a computer onboard with the windy app, as well as an iridium go for weather routing.
