Maybe I am doing things wrong (I’m sure I am), but I am trying to follow the example questions on page 40 of the study course book (Examples: Finding latitude at Lan), and I am using my 2021 nautical almanac. I am getting a different declination than what is written in the book on page 41. I also noticed that my nautical almanac from 2019 has a different declination for this date.

I guess I don’t see how I am supposed to use my current almanac to solve these problems that are referring to different years, and therefore have different values?

Thank you!
