I'm missing something.
My light list is incomplete.
My Coast Pilot is incomplete.
Is this the way it is suppost to be?
Where did the answer 18400 come from?
1-20 I had the same problem.

No, your reference materials are not supposed to be incomplete.
Please tell me what you mean that these references are incomplete? They are exact reproductions of the sections covered in the course materials. If you were indeed sailing in these waters, that is all you would have to go by. And, the overall level of coverage of this region is typical of most US waterways.
I note that the answers provided that you ask about do not provide the source. I will add that to the next printing and for now put it in the tech support section.

Please note also that these days the complete copies of the US Coast Pilots (made by NOS)and all Light Lists (made by USCG) are now online in full form. This was not the case for the Light Lists till fairly recently. We have links to these in the Resources section, under inet connections. They are typically multi-document pdf files.
It might be useful to have copies of these on your shipboard computer for quick reference. They can all be searched very easily if you have Acrobat Reader 6.0 or newer (now in ver 7, they call it Adobe Reader). Earlier versions (ie 5 and less) do not have a search function that will cover multi-file documents unless the authors generated special indexes and none of the gov pubs have these special indexes -- though some do have an interactive table of contents that might take you from chapter to chapter.
In short, if you are going to use these new government resources, get Adobe Reader 7. Ver 6 does not work very well, especailly for opening pdfs in a web broswer.
