Can you explain the right way to load the charts from the electronic version of the coastal nav course.

I figured it out on my own, but it was not obvious to me at first.

Just a follow up here in case others might run across this issue.

The key here is the instructions file. It is accessible when the CD is in, but not so obvious if you come back to this issue later on.

With the CD in place, it is called or is under a button called (I think) Read me. These notes can be printed and used as a step by step process, which is very valuable for several reasons as explainded there... for loading the charts, and why it is best to postpone registering the chart viewer.

There are two steps, one is installing the charts and that happens automatically when you push the button, but if you miss the rest of the instructions you get stuck at the stage where the chart viewer asks you to "register the charts," which is not such a good name since you are simply telling the program in this step where you installed the charts. This is all explained in the Instructions.
