Topic: December sailing transit to Belize

My twin brother, son and I are sailing from BVI to Belize Dec. 19, 2011. I estimate about an 11 day transit. Route is pretty much 268, running about 30 miles south of DR and Jamaica. Any suggestions or shared experiences to give us some idea of what we are in for?

just checking the chat room which we do not monitor as instructors.
Let me add, belatedly, that the best source for this information on expected conditions is the COGOW data.
PS... we have noted several interesting topics that have come up here, so we will try to change our notifications so instructors can chime is as they might care to.
