There is no direct menu item for GHA Aries, but we can find it indirectly.

GHA * = GHA Aries + SHA *, so

GHA Aries = GHA * - SHA *.

Precompute ( [2] [4] [2] ) any star to get GHA Star and SHA Star, then subtract them to get SHA. If negative, add 360º.

Lat and Lon does not matter. Use Markab (#57) with lowest SHA to minimize need for the extra correction.

Example: Nov 9, 2002 find GHA Aries at 12h 12m 12s UTC.

WT? 12.1212
Day?9
Month?11
Year?2002
Star,0=List?57
Lat? 00 (Can leave whatever shows up here)
Lon?00 (Can leave whatever shows up here)

57:MARKAB 2.6
Hc/Zn/GHA/DEC/SHA
-13º30.8' (This star was below the horizon)
302.0º
245º 19.5'
015º 13.3'
013º 46.6'

Then figure GHA Aries = 245º 19.5' - 013º 46.6' = 231º 32.9'

All times are Pacific
