the LHA of Canopus is listed in the example 6.4 as 32°, but this should be 2° bearing SE at 25 high (or 188° bearing SW at 25 high).

This was just a hypothetical case and it does not affect the method or rest of the discussion, but there is no excuse for it not being right.
