If you get the message "Installation aborted because an invalid serial number or key was entered" and then it quits... after not even having asked for a s/n or key,
The solution is: Right click the setup file and choose Properties. Then select the Compatibility tab.
Under "Compatibility Mode" check the box next to: "Run this program in compatibility mode for"
and choose XP service pack 3, click Apply, then OK.
Then run the exe again and it should work normally.
This must be a result of a Win 10 update effect as we had not seen this prior to last month.
