Required Materials
This course requires the electronic version of our home study course on inland and coastal navigation. That package includes two CDs, one has the text and reference materials on it, the other has the e-chart viewer, training charts, simulator, and e-chart exercise scenarios.
If you already own the paper version of this package, you can upgrade to the "combo package" which would provide the CDs. The upgrade price is just the difference in the two individual prices, plus shipping.

Please be sure that you have the materials in hand by the time of the first class. The course starts out immediately with reading and exercises from these materials. They provide the primary content of the online course. Assignments and practice exercises are taken directly from these materials and the exercise scenarios use the simulators and training charts we provide.
