Workforms Blank forms used to guide you through the steps of a sight reduction. Besides the Starpath Workforms used in this course, others are available from Davis Instruments, the government (similar to the Davis forms), and nearly everyone else who has ever taught celestial navigation. After some practice, you can do without forms, but they help when learning or when its hard to think, not feeling well, or very tired, or both. Even after doing this for many years, we would not ourselves want to head offshore without at least one workform for each process we might do. Once you get to know the Starpath forms, they are essentially a mini course in the sight reduction process. See Sight Reduction.
