daily pages

An often-used phrase that refers to the bulk of the pages in the Nautical Almanac—the ones that list the GHA and Dec of celestial bodies throughout the day. The daily pages also include times of sunrise, sunset, moonrise and other daily data. Other than the daily pages, the almanac also includes various special correction tables in the front and back, along with sections in the front and back that provide explanations of the table data. There are also star maps, a planet diagram, and tables that tell what regions use what times zones, day-light saving time, day of the year, and so forth.
