briefing This is the term the OPC uses to compile either a list of all weather maps for an ocean (graphic briefing) or the full set of related text forecasts and summaries (text briefing). They are given by ocean, Pacific or Atlantic. You find them on the OPC site under the tab Forecasts and Analysis/Briefing. These can also be requested by email but the set of maps is too large for wireless connections at sea.
