Asian Low

A principle center of action over summertime Asia which gives rise to the southwest monsoon. Average values can be seen in the WXT World Atlas under Pressures. Its wintertime counterpart is the Siberian High.

An analogous though less persistent low pressure pattern over the western coast of the US is called the California trough.
