Celestial
Atlantic No. 5274
Printable tracking charts (great circle).

Navigation star chart
This is a hi-res pdf of a star chart specifically marking the 57 navigation stars. Could be helpful in learning the stars.

Pacific No. 5270
Printable tracking charts (great circle).

Precomputing forms
A convenient form for precomputing cel nav sights designed and shared by Gary Rose. If you have comments or suggestions, please post a note in the Cel Nav General Discussion group.

Starpath Work Forms
This is a complete set of all Starpath Work Forms for Celestial Navigation, updated Oct 2018. This is a high res PDF of each form, with a link to the companion booklet that has all the instructions and numerical examples. The instructions booklet is included in the materials for our online cel nav course.

Universal Plotting Sheets
Use these sheets for plotting celestial LOPs or for any application that calls for a small section of a Mercator chart. The pdf file for these has two formats. They are both letter size, but could be printed any size. Everything would scale properly. We use these for the celestial course and for the weather course.
Coastal Nav
50-90 Rule for Tidal Currents
This form was developed by the USPS to be used with our 50-90 Rule for predicting tidal currents between peak and slack. A copy of the form is available at:

Form for 50-90 Rule

We appreciate this valuable contribution from the Power Squadrons.

Log and Knotmeter Calibration
This is a convenient form for calibrating log and knotmeter (generally done simultaneously) along with instructions for its use. The value of this form and procedure is it allows you to make the calibration even in the presence of wind or current.

Portable compass rose
This graphic is designed to be printed on a clear mailing label, which can then be cut out and pasted onto a chart. It is a replica of a compass rose than you can paste onto any part of a chart that might need one. It is especially valuable for kayakers or other small craft operators that much rely on folded charts.
Miscellaneous
Logbook pages
Every navigator has a favorite logbook format. This is the simple one we use. Designed for two facing pages, on letter size paper.

MLP form
Most likely position from 3 LOPs, based on our unique solution that accounts for variance in each LOP.
Radar
Parallel Indexing sheet
This is just a series of straight lines on a letter size paper intended to be printed on to a clear plastic overhead transparency sheet. They are used to plan and evaluate various parallel indexing maneuvers on the radar screen.

Portable range scale
This graphic is discussed in the Radar Trainer program. It is much like the old loran interpolation scales. You can cut them to match the range-ring spacing on your radar screen and paste onto a card or -- as we use them -- a tongue depressor, for quick distance measurements on the radar screen. Also useful with the Radar Trainer simulator.

Radar plotting sheets
These plotting sheets are designed for solving relative motion problems. Sometimes called transfer plotting sheets or maneuvering boards. They are designed for printing on letter paper.
Radio
Starpath VHF Channel Guide
A small card that conveniently reminds of channel usage and phonetic alphabet. Left click to view, right click to download. Prints from a pdf file, native size is 4.25" x 5.5". Ideal for posting near the radio for new radio users. Part of the Starpath post card series.
Weather and Climate
F-C Temp Scale Poster
A good way to learn the scale. We made this high res pdf scale for watching weather on NHK and France 24. Can be printed on letter paper and cut vertically to make the strip. About 5 ft tall and 6 inches wide. Perfect for a classroom.
