The Online Classroom is used for several purposes. The Online Courses are presented here, as well as Public Discussion Groups on specific topics open to all WebCard holders. To view all areas of the Classroom, click on the "Commons" link. Each of the courses has a separate link below the Commons link that describes each course in detail. The courses use the same materials we used in our Classroom courses for many years, plus new additions to keep them up to date. The Public Discussion forums are the places WebCard holders can post questions and discuss all areas of marine navigation and weather. The Public Discussion forums are listed in the Commons according to topic. You do not need to be taking part in an online course to use the Public Discussion Groups. There are further discussion groups within each of the courses for discussion specific to the course materials. These are called the Student Discussion Groups. Descriptions of the online courses appear on our Preview pages (dark blue backgrounds), as well as a place to enroll in a course; actual access to the courses becomes available from the Active pages (dark green backgrounds) once you are enrolled and login with your WebCard.
