We have used these durable dividers for many years. They are the dividers of choice among professional navigators because they are easy to use and accurate... and (indeed) very light weight for a "speed bow" design, not to mention very economical. The center roller allows for fine adjustments with just one hand (the "bow" feature), or pull the legs apart to override the roller for a faster adjustment ("speed bow"). Package includes two leads for use as a plotting compass, as well as one extra divider point, and one back up knurled knob that secures leads or points in place.
