NOAA Chart Catalog In our course context, this refers to a function in qtVlm that lets users define a region on the screen of any size over US waters, right-click, and choose "Install or update NOAA ENC charts." This then brings up a window that shows all NOAA ENC in that region, which are each marked as: installed or not, along with name, scale, and edition dates. At this point the user can choose to install, delete, or update any of the charts. This is a very easy and efficient way to manage US charts. It is difficult to imagine a better system.
