pulse repetition interval

The time between successive pulses in a radar beam, often expressed in terms of pulse repetition frequency or pulse rate. A pulse rate of 1,500 Hz means 1,500 pulses per second, which means each pulse consumes 1/1,500 seconds or 667 microseconds. For a 1-microsecond pulse length, there are some 666 microseconds between each pulse.
