true motion display

A stabilized display option that uses the GPS input as well as a heading sensor input to move your vessel position across the radar screen leaving the landmasses and other stationary targets in fixed positions. It is like viewing an e-chart with your vessel moving relative to charted features, but in this case it is your heading line and range rings that are moving relative to the radar images. True motion displays are always in the north-up orientation.
